Construction Carpenter
Competent working with wood and some metal structures such as metal siding, pole barns. Preference given to those with experience in erecting steel buildings. Typical daily activities would include building, erecting, installation and repair work on existing facilities, commercial buildings, barns and structures. Material may be a combination of wood, metal or cement typical to the commercial construction industry. Tools should consist of nail bags, hammer, square, tape measure and typical battery-operated hand tools, drills, impact etc.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, bend, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
- Limited short term out-of-town travel may be required.
- Reporting of any client, workmanship or material quality and safety.
- Keep work are safe and tidy and free of unnecessary clutter.
- Reading and understanding construction drawings/blueprints, site sketches, etc.
- Maintain the ability to accurately read a tape measure, layout and cut construction materials to required measurements.
- Safely operate telehandler forklift for staging, or offloading materials.
- Safely operate man lifts, scissor lifts, snorkels, and boom basket lifts.
- Accurately hand doors, windows and install rubber or wood base board and trims if needed.

Skilled Ironworker
Ironworker and metal building carpenter with experience in steel building installation. We have a great opportunity for you to work with a respected and growing company.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the installation of metal structures and buildings. Applicants should have a strong ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Metal Buildings are our specialty, and we are looking for an iron worker / metal building erector with experience hanging red iron and erecting Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings. If you’re up to the challenge, bring your bags and we will provide the rest. You’ll be successful if you have a positive attitude and work well with a fast- paced team.
Although these positions may require travel, the Company pays for travel expenses including lodging, mileage, and per diem for meals.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Fasten and weld metal beams and columns together and ensure all are properly level.
- Use cranes and telehandlers to hoist and position metal components into place.
- Rig, hoist, and move metallic items within the work area.
- Dismantle steelworks for renovation or demo purposes.
- Cut and weld metal sections using metal shears, torches, and welding equipment.
- Erect precast concrete components for metal structures.
- Assemble hoisting equipment or rigging, including cables, pulleys, and hooks.
